ABOUT 

Nikila Rigby Ellis is a Los Angeles native and graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design.  Her lifelong interest in gardening began as a child, helping her mother plant, weed, and prune roses for their own garden. She started her landscape design firm in 1983 and obtained a landscape contractor’s license in 1988.  Her work is primarily high-end residential.  Over the past 35 years, her projects have included garden remodels, ground-up construction, pools, fountains, garden structures, entries, driveways, and virtually any design element included in a home’s surroundings. Primarily based in Los Angeles with work extending from Hancock Park to Malibu, her portfolio has also included homes in Palm Springs, Phoenix, Newport Beach, and the Bay Area.
